Description
Theatr Colwyn is the oldest working cinema in the UK and the oldest Civic Theatre in Wales. We host a successful programme of shows and live productions for our loyal audiences as well as housing the cutting-edge photography gallery, Oriel Colwyn. Our sister-theatre, Venue Cymru, which is the largest arts centre in North Wales, is located a few miles away in Llandudno.
They want to hear from experienced technical professionals who would like to work in our historic building in the beautiful setting of Colwyn Bay, benefiting from proximity to the sea and mountains and only one hour from Manchester and Liverpool.
Applicants should be familiar with the operation of sound/lighting/stage and digital projection systems, have knowledge of technical equipment and be able to assist the technical department at Venue Cymru when required. Work will encompass live presentations, film screenings and conference / events activities.
Working an average of 25 hours per week on an annualised hour’s basis, the shift pattern will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
